Fushifaru story
We are the custodian of the protected reefs that surround the island of Fushifaru. Our role is to conserve and maintain this important marine ecosystem for the future generations. We indulge our visitors and their senses with different experiential qualities that the landscape affords us in a way that spurs their imagination and make it memorable part of their lives.
Seaplane Transfer
Upon your arrival, our Fushifaru Airport host will be there to assist you with your luggage and take you to the seaplane terminal for check in. From the airport terminal you will then take a 5-minute bus ride to the TMA Seaplane terminal for your boarding.

Getting Here
On the far North East border of Lhaviyani Atoll, Fushifaru Maldives is a 35-minute breath-taking seaplane flight away from Velana International Airport. Your journey to Fushifaru Maldives starts with views of azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean and over remote islands.
Upon your arrival, our Fushifaru Airport host will be there to assist you with your luggage and take you to the seaplane terminal for check in. From the airport terminal you will then take a 5 minute bus ride to the TMA Seaplane terminal for your boarding.
Arrival Process
Your first Fushifaru experience begins with your arrival at Velana International Airport where our airport Resident will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall, holding a “Fushifaru Maldives” placard. Following your arrival, our airport Resident will escort you to the seaplane terminal, a short 5 minute trip in a shuttle bus. The day time flight to Fushifaru Maldives is an exciting 35 minutes' journey, flying over the beautiful archipelago and witnessing the mesmerizing views of the atolls and island formations.
Departure Process
Your Resident Host will share your departure details on the evening prior to your departure day. To ensure a smooth and stress-free transfer, we kindly request all guests to visit the Reception the night before departure to review and settle any outstanding bills. This helps avoid last-minute delays and allows for a seamless journey from the island to the airport. On the day of departure, our Airport Host will meet and assist you at the Velana International Airport and guide you to your international departure gate.
